Milwaukee, WI (June 22, 2026) – One person died early Sunday, June 21, after a two-car wreck on 11th Street and Greenfield Avenue. Emergency units were called to the area around 1:15 a.m. Police said a vehicle crossed the roadway and struck another car.
The driver of the second vehicle, 47, was treated for life-threatening injuries but died at the scene. The 24-year-old driver of the striking vehicle was arrested there as well.
Police suspect impairment was a factor in the crash. Charges are expected to be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
